The desire of our Pastoral Team and Elder Council is to outline our response to Covid-19 to clarify and emphasize our protocols as we continue to look to the Holy Spirit for guidance.

First, you are in charge of your own health and wellbeing, and the health and wellbeing of your family. And as part of our larger church community, we are all responsible to partner together in this battle against Covid.

That said, we ask that you join us in following these guidelines:

  • SYMPTOMS:

    • If anyone in your home is exhibiting Covid-type symptoms, please keep all family members or residents at home until you receive a negative Covid test for the person exhibiting symptoms or your healthcare provider is able to determine the cause of the symptoms (i.e., a diagnosis of a cold, allergies, etc.).

  • POSITIVE COVID:

    • If anyone in your home has tested positive for Covid, please keep all family members or residents at home and follow your healthcare provider's directives on returning to our gatherings.

  • EXPOSURE:

    • If you or anyone in your home has been exposed to someone who has exhibited Covid-like symptoms and is awaiting a Covid test result, please keep all family members or residents at home until you are informed of the person's negative Covid test result.

    • If you or anyone in your home has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid, please keep all family members or residents at home for the recommended quarantine time or until each person in your family has received a negative Covid test result.

Please know that these guidelines are to help us all remain healthy so that we can continue to gather safely as a church family. Let's continue to pray and be in faith for our church body to stand out as His light in the darkness.

If you have questions or need further clarification, please contact one of our Pastoral Team members or email info@newsongnashville.com and we'd be happy to put you in touch with a Pastoral Team member.
