Christmas can be a very inspiring time for decorating and fun holiday projects! But, this time of year can also get tight with finances and time. With that in mind, I’d like to show you a fun Christmas banner that you can make in under 10 minutes. It’s not only a time saver, but it’s also inexpensive, super easy and a nice DIY accent for Christmas!

I was recently browsing the dollar section at Target and was excited to see a cute little tin filled with gift tags that included a piece of bakers twine, letter stickers, and cute Christmas clothes pins. The dollar section always has so many fun things that can be used to get creative during Christmas!  It can be a dangerous place for me. 😉

I love the idea of utilizing banners in the home to decorate and celebrate! And, actually, I probably use them in almost every room of my home (maybe a bit too much – but like I said, I love them!). Take a look at this tutorial video below that shows how I created my most recent banner and how easy it is to make!

Enjoy! And I hope it inspires you to get creative this Christmas!

I’m always a fan of the “use what you have” principle, and even more, a fan of saving money! When creating a centerpiece for any event, I love to browse around my own home to see what I can blend together to create a unique element for our table.

Christmastime décor provides a plethora of options for centerpiece elements! In this video, you’ll see where I combine leftover tree clippings, christmas ornaments, fruit and other items from around the house to make several different centerpiece options. I hope this inspires you to personalize your own table this season as well. Merry Christmas!12.18.15 susanna
